We live in a time of great opportunity, a time when medicine and physiology have progressed to the point that we finally know a great deal about what to do to prevent many premature debilitating diseases. Of course, there are myriad problematic conditions which defy solution, but in most cases these are beyond our control. What I want to address here is the problems that are controllable, preventable, and where it is within our power to do so by application of known principles.
Becoming a Complete Hunter

So many long-time hunters are novices in at least some ways. In this article I try to encourage all hunters to become complete hunters to the best of their ability, regardless of how many species they've taken or how new they are to hunting. I also have some (I believe appropriate) comments on the recent Tucson shooting tragedy.
